In 1980, Mr Gerard Fontaine and his son André, joined forces to build a business that has since become one of the leading manufacturers of handling equipment in Canada. Almost 40 years later, André, having long since taken over from his father, branched out with a second business specializing in the manufacturing of environmental equipment.
It has been more that a few years since AGF Brome moved into their new plant. Concerned for the well-being of their workers, open work spaces and offices were built which would allow in natural light. It was also with concern for the environment that a new baked powder painting room with zero environmental waste was built with the bonus of giving AGF Brome an attractive yet very long lasting finish.
Respect for the end-users of AGF Brome products is reflected in the equipment manufactured by this business: Paint with zero noxious substance emissions, certified products that meet the strictest safety standards and with a high quality finish, all demonstrate the manufacturer's commitment to the customer.
